| Benefit Eligibility |
All full-time employees are eligible for benefits beginning the 1st day of the month, following your hire date. You have thirty days in which to enroll, but please keep in mind that your benefits will begin on the 1st day of the month as will your benefit premiums. Employees caring for their parents and claiming them as dependents on their income taxes cannot list them as dependents for company-provided benefits because tax and benefit dependency rules differ. For benefits eligibility, dependents are defined as being a spouse or child under a certain age. Our plans do not extend coverage to parents, even if they qualify as tax dependents. |
| 401(k) Eligibility |
You are eligible to participate in the 401(k) plan on the first day of the month following your date of hire and if you are 18 years of age or older. Existing employees may enroll at any time and deferral changes may be made on a quarterly basis. You may designate beneficiaries and allocate your asset distribution at any time. Please contact Fidelity to set up your account and initiate your payroll deferrals. (800) 835-5097 or www.netbenefits.com |
If you are a Full-Time, benefit-eligible employee, you must enroll and either select benefits and/or waive coverages.
Yes, you must add the dependent(s) in iSolved, before you begin your enrollment. You will also need to send proof to Benefits@Excelligence.com that this is a legal dependent.
Find the Benefits tab on the Resource Center and then click on the individual benefit such as “Medical” for more in-depth information. You can also contact Benefits@Excelligence.com
You must go on-line to www.nb.fidelity.com to register or call a Fidelity representative at (800) 835-5097 to set up an elect a deferral amount. You can do this any time throughout your employment.
Because the plan names changed and the plans will end on 12/31/23, they are no longer eligible for “that” plan. Rest assured, as long as your dependent did not turn 26, you are still eligible to enroll them in the plans for 2024 with no problems.
The system will not ask for proof, but please be proactive and provide that to your local HR rep or by sending to benefits@excelligence.com. We will go through the enrollments at some point and will need to collect this information. You will need a birth certificate or a marriage license, depending on your relationship.
